The Reflected

An old photograph I found lying around on my hard drive.
Year: 1998
File Size: 35.0kb

The Church of Inevitabilities

Originally I wanted to write a story of an alternate England and this picture was to tell the story of the Traveller coming across a religion that worshipped truths rather than a God. In this case, disappointment. The old industrial building around where I used to live provided good material.
Year: 2001
File Size: 37.8kb

The Mage's Tower

High above the people, the mage watches all. Another picture from my collection of an alternate England.
Year: 2001
File Size: 58.0kb

The Rainbow Bridge

Another photograph of the Great Central Way. The Victorian bridge takes on the role of Bifrost, the rainbow bridge from Asgard to Midgard of Norse legend. It's also a piece of op art with the bridge never seeming to materialise fully and stay still.
Year: 2001
File Size: 59.8kb

Windows to Englightenment

One of the alternate England series. Inside this factory is englightenment. But is it manufactured truth?
Year: 2001
File Size: 87.6kb

A Hole in a Hole is a Hole

I saw this thing in Leicester. I've no idea what it is or what it represents but I liked the idea of taking a picture of a hole.
Year: 2002
File Size: 64.5kb

Between Places

The alleyway that ran through the terrace I used to live in that connected the street to the back gardens. Exposure has been heavily altered and a noisy glow added to create an air of mystery.
Year: 2002
File Size: 21.8kb

Broken Eye

Decay beside the canal running by the Grand Central Way in Leicester.
Year: 2002
File Size: 99.1kb

CDG

Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. It was a section like this that collapsed in 2004. I love the geometry and almost clinical colours.
Year: 2002
File Size: 77.0kb

Cubes

Another view of Charles de Gaulle airport. The exposure has been played with to create glowing cubes of light.
Year: 2002
File Size: 47.1kb

Door to Neverwhere

At Paddington station, on the platform for the Metropolitan Line is this strange door. It reminded me of Neil Gaimen's Neverwhere novel.
Year: 2002
File Size: 54.7kb

Geometry

A bridge across the canal in Leicester. I love the geometry here in the Bridge and the restaurant beyond.
Year: 2002
File Size: 61.0kb

Geometry II

Again strong geomtry is seen in this photograph of the Land Registry in Leicester.
Year: 2002
File Size: 43.0kb

Peace

Nightvision photography from my Sony F707.
Year: 2002
File Size: 40.1kb

Rust Angel

A nod to the North East from where I originate. I love the Angel of the North as a symbol of the industrial heart of the region.
Year: 2002
File Size: 20.5kb

Shoot the Moon

A chimney along the edge of the Grand Union Canal in Leicester. A couple of filters turn it into more of a technical drawing than a photograph. I really like how this one came out.
Year: 2002
File Size: 27.2kb

The End of the Line

Literally the end of the line for the Grand Central Way. Once a railway and then a footpath, it's now out of bounds and crumbling into decay, being slowly reclaimed by nature.
Year: 2002
File Size: 32.4kb

Tribal

A portrait of an American Tribal Style bellydancer.
Year: 2005
File Size: 22.7kb

Bristol

Careful filter use renders a technical drawing from the photograph of this Bristol helicoptor.
Year: 2002
File Size: 88.5kb

Double Prop

I loved the shapes and detail here.
Year: 2002
File Size: 62.9kb

Eagle's Graveyard

This one is pretty self explanatory. It seems such a sad sight.
Year: 2002
File Size: 62.8kb

Force

Force by name and nature. The coloured shapes seem to echo this word and the patches look like battle scars.
Year: 2002
File Size: 50.4kb

Rotation and Exhaust

A highly processed picture of a turboprop engine. I love the ethereal shapes I got with this one.
Year: 2002
File Size: 36.1kb

Twins

The cobwebs in these jet exhaust tell a sad story of decay.
Year: 2002
File Size: 43.4kb
